HELLO WORLD

Here are 5 2024 Prospects that had their hello world moment down in Louisville, Kentucky.

2024 Post Tabitha Betson (DME 17U)- Betson showed the whole package all weekend. She is one of the most skilled players in the country and was utilized as a Point-Center initiating the offense as well as pushing the break. She did damage in the paint and stretched the floor. She is a unicorn. Her college list now reflects that.

2024 PG Orlagh Gormley (MCW) - Gormley is a savvy PG who knows the art of running the 3 things necessary to be an elite point guard. (TEAM, BREAK, PICK & ROLL) She’s deadly from 3 and knows how to get in the lane. She isn’t a ball-dominant point guard and picks her spots very well. She was a huge reason why MCW won the Aqua Bracket and she rose to the occasion on national television. The Michigan Wolverines offered quickly after the live period.

2024 PG Reza Po (Cal Ballers) - Po is a crafty scoring point guard who has great hesitations and a change of speed to create separation. She got in the lane frequently and was able to do damage beyond the arc. She has good quickness and being undersized she gets where she wants on the floor. Her handle is tight and she is a handful especially getting to her left hand. Po picked up a New Mexico offer.

2024 SG Alyssa Ervin (VA Outlaws)- Ervin was a scoring machine all week. She was doing it beyond the arc, in transition, and in pick & roll. She has good size and is a willing passer. She plays with flair and confidence which makes her fun to watch. She has picked up multiple mid-major offers in the southeast.

2024 SG Alayna West (Mac Irvin)- West is a name most were familiar with because of playing on the biggest stages with Mac Irvin, however, she’s been perceived as a glue piece. With Northwestern Commit Xamiya Walton not playing Mac Irvin didn’t skip a beat and West was a big reason why. Her ability to get to the rim in the half-court setting as well as transition made her a tough guard all week. West was aggressive and was a great 3rd viable scoring option for her team. She didn’t blink on the biggest stage while playing on ESPN. Her athleticism and toughness stuck out and make me believe that she can play in the Big East.

Betson picked up a Maryland offer after Run for the Roses.

Po picked up a New Mexico offer this week.

Ervin had a huge weekend scoring the ball, including a 43 pt performance.
