Thompson is a long athletic wing who can shoot the 3 and is a very effective direct line driver. She takes pro steps and covers ground with her explosiveness. She’s a good passer when she draws help and is a willing passer. She possesses the ability to be good in the open floor with the ball or as a lane runner. Defensively she has all the tools to take defensive assignments. Thompson can fill out physically. Her footwork can improve and if she can master the footwork with her ability to blow by it will make up for her lack of wiggle. Adding the pull up to her arsenal is essential. Her ability to put pressure at the rim opens up the in between game but she doesn’t seem to seek it or have it. Thompson is extremely productive and will be regarded as one of the top wings in the 24’ class.
