Thienou is a extremely long athletic rangy wing who puts pressure on every team's transition defense. Her ability to get into a passing lane or to defensive rebound and blast out with the ball is elite. She can finish with either hand and off either foot. In the half court she is a capable 3pt shooter who keeps the defense honest. She is at her best putting her head down and getting to the rim and getting to the line. She’s got a good feel for the game and also great natural instincts. Defensively she can be very versatile at her size. And although being a wing she has a knack for changing shots and blocking shots in the paint. She is very good at turning defensive into offense. Thienou’s biggest area for improvement is still her consistency shooting the ball. She needs to also work on some change of direction moves off the dribble. She is an adequate ball handler especially for her size but doesn't make many moves. She relies a lot on space, athleticism and her long strides. One of the premier wings in the 24’ Class, however she is almost 20 years old.
