Shaw is a quick point guard who has a good understanding of what it means to be a point guard. Her handle and change of speeds are good and she is comfortable handling pressure 94 feet. She is a good athlete and is comfortable initiating offense against pressure and can deliver a wing entry with either hand off the dribble. She has a variety of finishes around the rim and at the “dots”. Shaw can get in the lane on her own or in pick & roll situations. Where her biggest area of concern is her shooting. She is a capable shooter, but her mechanics and guide hand make her catch and shoot more of a set shot. Low to mid major prospect.
