Piatti is regarded as the top post in Italy. Her size and agility for her position is good enough. Her feel for the game is above average for a big. She has range out to 15 feet and is a good free throw shooter. Piatti’s best basketball is in front of her. Her mechanics are pretty good and she should be able to extend her range. Her footwork needs to improve and she must be a better finisher around the rim. Not a very good passer out of the post. The next 8-10 months of development will dictate her level of recruitment as well as if she can become an immediate contributor at the collegiate level.
