Philpotts is an elite athlete at the point guard position. She gets to the rim consistently and is very skilled at drawing contact. Philpotts is a big time competitor who can fill up the stat sheet. She plays with force and with her handle she can be a nightmare to keep out of the lane. She has become a lot more confident shooting from the outside and is now a capable 3pt shooter. Along with her twin sister, she led her school to an undefeated season capped off with a state championship. Defensively she plays with high energy and stays active, racking up steals and deflections. If Philpotts can continue tightening up her outside shot look for her to be an impact player for a winning program.
