MacCalla is a athletic shooting guard with great size. She plays with a mean streak and great competitive spirit. She puts enormous pressure on the defense in transition as well as in the half court by attacking down hill. A very good offensive rebound from the guard spot as well. Her first step is lethal and she is seeking contact on drives. Her physicality wears on her opponent. Defensively she takes on the challenge and competes on that end as well. Her shot and handle are both her biggest area for concern as well as passing off the dribble. One of the top prospects in the country at the shooting guard position.
