Horiuchi is a jet quick point guard who pushes the pace any chance she can get. She is a pest defensively and can pick up full court. Her handle is adequate and with her speed she can get in the lane early and often. She knows how to run pick & roll but tends to try to make the home run play. Horiuchi is crafty around the rim, but her shooting is a work in progress. If she wants to evolve in the pick & roll and as a scorer, she will have to hit the open jumper or teams will sag off and go under screens. A tough hard-nosed guard who has good natural instincts and movements but lacks discipline on both ends. Division 2 prospect at this moment.
