Hjelmstad has great size and shooting from the wing position. An above average athlete and a college ready body has made her one of the most coveted plug and play wings in the 2025 class. Her handle is solid but can see improvement. Her ability to create her own shot at the next level will be an area of concern. To combat that she can become a great cutter and user of screens. Defensively she will struggle at times to keep explosive wings in front of her but she shouldn’t be someone who has to be hidden in a zone. One of the better system SF in the 2025 class.
