Few guards possess the size, strength and skill that Hilliard has. Her ability to play on and off the ball shows her versatility. She has proven to be able to hit the open jumper, to get to her mid range game as well as get to the rim and have a variety of finishes. Her ability to play in pick & roll and deliver passes with touch and precision is impressive. She can split the show man and has nice change of direction moves in traffic. Hilliard defers at times to her teammates and doesn’t seem to be in the best shape. When going left her drives are rounded and she tends to play more east and west instead of north and south. Her shooting mechanics needs to some work, her guide hand pulls back when she releases. If Hilliard can develop some alpha and get in the best shape of her life this will be one of the best long term point guard prospects in the 25’ class.
