Gormley is an extremely skilled lead guard who knows how to run a team. She’s very good at pick & roll. She understands the progressions and reads depending on what coverage the defense is in. In transition she advances the ball ahead and can throw the nice touch pass over the top to the rim runner. Once in a while she will even shoot the pull up three if the defense is backing up. Gormley has a knack for getting in the lane whenever she wants. She is very deceptive with change of speeds and little fakes to make the defense relax. The only real knock on Gormley is her lack of size and I wouldn’t call her a jet. At the next level she must rely on her in-between game and make sure she doesn’t over penetrate at times. Her feel for the game and her position make her a high major point guard despite her size.
