Ellis is an athletic guard who puts pressure on the defense by attacking left or right. She seeks contact on drives and knows how to draw fouls. She keeps the defense honest with her shooting, but this is an area she can improve. She is a left thumb shooter. She gets out and fills a lane in transition or she can push the break herself. If her jumper becomes more consistent Ellis will draw the attention of all levels.
