Desouze is an extremely gifted natural point guard who understands the position. She has great pace and feel and is very poised with the ball in her hands. She can run a team and she can run pick & roll. Her handle and change of direction moves are elite for her class and is able to get in the lane frequently. The biggest question mark with Desouze is can she keep the defense honest from the perimeter as a shooter. Most of her damage is as a driver or in the open floor. In the half court setting can she score the ball well enough as a shooter. Already regarded as one of the top PG’s in the 2026 class and she should be.
