Akpotaybo is a big strong bodied post who has good footwork and moves in the low post. She is physical and a big target to hit in the low post. Her activity and toughness make her a tough cover in the paint. However her touch around the rim especially when surrounded by length gets exposed. Not much of leaper and a little undersize Akpotaybo is bothered by length in a major way. Her conditioning is improving but still isn’t there and she is agile for her size but is still going to be challenged in pick & roll as well as in transition defense. A major stock riser in the summer picking up high major offers however Akpotaybo has a long way to go to be able to be effective at that level.
